a. About the Data Controller:
As Lucas Elektrik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (the “Company”), we attach the utmost importance to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we as the Company place great importance on ensuring that all personal data of every person associated with the Company, including natural and legal persons who benefit from our products and services, as well as of our employees, is processed and retained in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “KVKK”). In full awareness of this responsibility and in our capacity as “Data Controller” as defined in the KVKK, we process your personal data in the manner set out below and within the limits prescribed by the applicable legislation.
b. Collection and Processing of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing:
Although this may vary depending on the products/services provided by our Company and on our Company’s commercial activities, your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically, by automated or non-automated means, through our Company’s units, Group Companies, website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means. Your personal data may be processed, and compiled and updated on an ongoing basis, for as long as you benefit from the products and services offered by our Company and our Group Companies.
Furthermore, your personal data may be processed when you use our telephone line or website in order to use the services of the Company or our Group Companies, or when you visit our Company or our website.
Your collected personal data will be processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following purposes: the performance by our business units of the work necessary to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company and our Group Companies; obtaining your feedback on the products and services offered by our Company and our Group Companies; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company, our Group Companies and persons in a business relationship with our Company (administrative operations relating to communications carried out by our Company, ensuring the physical security and supervision of the Company’s premises, customer evaluation/complaint management processes of the Group Companies, reputation research processes, event management, legal compliance processes, audits, financial affairs, etc.); determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies; and ensuring the implementation of our Company’s human resources policies.
c. To Whom and for What Purposes the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred:
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, our suppliers, Group Companies, Company officials, our shareholders, and legally authorised public institutions and private persons, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the following purposes: the performance by our business units of the work necessary to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company and our Group Companies; recommending to you the products and services offered by our Company and our Group Companies, customised according to your preferences, usage habits and needs; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company, our Group Companies and persons in a business relationship with our Company (administrative operations relating to communications carried out by our Company, ensuring the physical security and supervision of the Company’s premises, evaluation processes for business partners/customers/suppliers (or their authorised representatives or employees), reputation research processes, legal compliance processes, audits, financial affairs, etc.); determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies; and ensuring the implementation of our Company’s human resources policies.
d. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection:
Your personal data is obtained through all kinds of verbal, written or electronic media for the purposes set out above, with the aim of enabling the products and services we offer as the Company to be provided within the established legal framework and, in this context, enabling our Company to fulfil its contractual and statutory obligations fully and accurately. Your personal data collected on this legal basis may also be processed and transferred for the purposes set out in items (1) and (2) of this text, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
e. Rights of the Data Subject under the KVKK:
As data subjects, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company using the methods set out below in this Information Notice, our Company will conclude the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee set out in the tariff determined by our Company will be charged.
In this context, data subjects have the right to:
- learn whether their personal data is being processed,
- request information about it if their personal data has been processed,
- learn the purpose of the processing of their personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom their personal data is transferred,
- request the rectification of their personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- request the erasure or destruction of their personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that the operations carried out pursuant to items 5 and 6 be notified to the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred,
- object to the occurrence of a result to their detriment by means of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- request compensation for the damage in the event that they suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.
Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the KVKK, you may submit your request regarding the exercise of the above-mentioned rights to our Company in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. As the Personal Data Protection Board has not determined any method at this stage, you are required under the KVKK to submit your application to our Company in writing. Accordingly, the channels and procedures through which you may submit your written applications to our Company under Article 11 of the KVKK are explained below.

To exercise the rights described above, you may complete the Application Form available on our website with your necessary identity details, the right you wish to exercise and a detailed explanation of the subject of your request, and submit it to the addresses specified in the form: you may apply in person (the applicant must appear in person and apply with a document proving their identity), send a notification through a notary public, or submit your application via Registered Electronic Mail (KEP), signed with a “secure electronic signature”.
Explicit Consent:
You know and accept that the personal data you have provided to us by visiting our website may be processed for the specified purposes in accordance with the law and the KVKK. Furthermore, you accept and declare that the obligation to inform required under the KVKK has been fulfilled by Lucas Elektrik San. ve Tic. A.Ş., that you have read and understood this Information Notice, that you are aware of your rights and obligations, and that, having been informed on the subject, you give your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes specified within the scope of the KVKK.
